Sec How to beat UF..review of Jamar Adams, LB, Michigan

YouTube - Jamar Adams versus Tim Tebow

Consistent blitz up the middle, I hope we utilize Gerald Williams or Rico McCoy in a similar fashion this year

They still put up 35 points though.

Therein lies the rub. You still have to outscore UF's O rather than shutting it down. Even if the defense is flying all over the field, they are still going to allow UF 28-35 points.

You can't have a timid OC calling plays when playing UF.

Exactly, hopefully Clawson will be the answer and not another repeat of Cutcliff/Sanders.

You need Mike Hart, Mario Manningham, and Arrington making a few spectacular catches to beat Florida.

YouTube - Michigan Highlights from the 2008 Capital One Bowl

Look at the space Florida was giving up on some of those plays... the Florida defense lost them that game, not their ability to protect Tebow.

I would say that Auburn and LSU are better games to watch if you wanna learn how to beat them.

Saying it is more difficult to doing it but if you disrupt the operating bubble around the QB in that O then you take away all the misdirection, play action, and mid/long passes that it needs to be most effective.

Pressure up the middle is even more key against that O than normal because that O depends more on outside runs and angles on the inside. The only guy who can take a straight dive off the center is the QB.

If I were a DC against UF, I'd sell out up the middle with stunts and blitzes then play disciplined on the edges.

It also helps to be sending your coach out for his last game...even the Zooker won at F$U..the almighty Spurrier didn't.
