| The funny thing is, they could have just used a pinch runner and the home run would still count. All those reports about it being a single if she was replaced are wrong. |

| i'm totally missing something. While I'm fully prepared to go into a debate on how worthwhile Title IX is with you, I really just want to know what this story has to do with Title IX?

The pinch runner can come in at any point, and as long as she touches the bases, including missed, by the original player it is fine. Interesting that no body there actually knew the ruling, but then again I looked it up after the fact. |

| ahhh come on...if i would have torn my ACL i'd have been hopping around the bases on one leg or crawling it, especially if it was my first. |
