Pretty decent little read. Sounds like Smart is just making up excuses a little bit. Yeah, they may of not respected Jones as much as they should have, and might of not been well prepared either, but the truth is Ohio State was just more talented from top to bottom on their roster.

It just seems in the few times Bama fails, it's recognition and/or motivation related. True on the Ohio State talent quotient but why the total egg laid against Oklahoma in the previous year's bowl? Saban appropriately shoulders his team's championship game or bust mentality, but I'm beginning to wonder if it's Christmas turkey making Smart not so smart.
