Carson-Newman (D-II – TN): Don Woods, who spent the last seven seasons at VMI as the chief of staff and defensive line coach, has accepted the quarterbacks job on Ken Sparks’ staff. Woods takes over for Alex Good who has decided to return to Europe to continue his professional playing career.

Is he the son of Sparky Woods? (former Appy State, Sou. Carolina and VMI head coach and an alumni of Carson-Newman as well). I went to school with Sparky at C-N. A really nice guy.
