OP Tell them congratulation on a great year. Even though they play In a conference that can't even sniff the SEC in terms of quality. Still 10-3. However the final AP poll means absolutely nothing if you don't finish 1st. Now I realize that we would love to be ranked in the Top 25 at the end of the year and would probably be very happy but then again if we were in the Top 25 it was because we earned by beating top tier programs instead of 1 ranked team BYU and squeezing bye the likes of Temple. If that seems a little harsh I might mention how they are probably the only school that could get in a fight with "Mormons" by sucker punching one of them after a win. Classy. All in good fun of course.

I think it's very possible that in that poll this time next year Tennessee,Georgia Tech and BYU will be all ranked in the top 25.

Looks about right. Might could switch TCU and Oregon. I'm surprised TN didn't get any votes the way y'all played in the bowl game. Take away Iowa's last couple meaningless TDs and it was total domination. Y'all should begin next season ranked IMO.

What Fuente has done at Memphis with a bunch of unranked players is nothing short of a miracle. Why Vanderbilt didn't back up the truck to get him this year I'll never understand. Next year he'll be out of their range and have better offers. He's 10 times the coach Mason is.

They deserved it. They played a great bowl game and had a pretty good season. But even a blind squirrel finds an acorn now and then. Just like Mississippi State, next year will take then back to reality.
