Vols looked sluggish but still beat MS on the road..Auburn lost to Vandy and Cal is getting destroyed by a USC team that is without it's leading scorer

Pearl can coach and Pearl will succeed. Auburn is just a place where no one could win right now. Give it a year or two.

He's got a great recruiting class coming in, unfortunately. He just has the second least talented roster in the conference at the moment.

As long as we can get on the other side of this NCAA thing with CDT I believe we'll be fine. I'm sure Pearl will done great in the long run at Auburn too, but it's just nice to beat him and for a Martin led Cal team to lose all at the same time. :)

Pearl had a ton of 4 star busts at UT. Just because he has a highly ranked class doesn't necessarily mean Auburn is going to be good. If Alabama ever gets its house in order his job will be 10 times harder.

KT Harrell would start at any SEC school other than UK and Bowers is a good player. Clearly they aren't loaded, but they have enough talent that they should beat Coastal Carolina or not lose by 31 to Colorado.

And he won a SEC title, went to the NCAA's every year, had 3 Sweet 16's and an Elite 8. He knows how to coach with or without 4 stars.
