I have tried to watch/listen to the Finebaum show in the afternoons after work. I have to say after listening to 104.5 The Zone in Nashville earlier in the day, Finebaum is highly depressing. Not just because he is a VOL graduate turned Crimson, but because he is just plain ole boring.

I would like to see The SEC Network have multiple shows during that 4 hours time slot (maybe 1 hour each) with host who represent other areas of the conference. For example, Clay Travis, formerly of The Zone, would be an awesome host. He is highly entertaining and is the anti-Finebaum. Young, energetic, smart and a Vandy grad who loves UT (I believe his grandfather played at UT).

Anybody with me on starting a petition to get less Finebaum and more anybody else?

I tried to watch it, but I got tired of the negativity towards UT. I start my sec network viewing at 7:00

Is that you Clay? I know you are "out of work" right now but continue to be the Gay Muslim that you are and things will work out.

Just kidding I like Clay

I wouldn't change a thing about it. I like his program for what it is.

You really shouldn't be depressed.

Watching Finebaum stare into the camera is like watching paint dry. He has basically no knowledge or insight into anything. His callers are the only thing that get him ratings. Most of the people that call in are white trash hillbillies that sound like they made it through the 4th grade. Better things to do with my time

I changed my subscription just to add the SEC network. I was very disappointed when I realized he had my prime tv viewing hours. I was hoping for something a little all sec inclusive.

There will be some on here shortly saying other teams will receive attention when they win, but not the case with his show. Now that Bama has a loss, he just focuses on why they lost and how we should feel.

I actually felt bad for the MS schools
for surviving last couple of weekends just to hear him say once again "The big story of the week,
what is going on with ALLLUUUU....BAMA."

i start my SEC Network watching on saturdays. Thats about it. 4 hours is way too long for that show to be televised. If youve seen one finebaum show then youve seen em all.

Yeah - whoever decided that putting is bald, sullen, depressing, pencil head on TV for several hours in a row was a good idea I'll never know...must be sponsored by Zoloft, Viagra, Sportcuts and beer companies.

Finebaum sucks. His callers arn't funny or interesting, they're annoying and ignorant. The whole show is a boring skinny guy allowing crazy people to scream about college football and he just subtly condescends them.

It's not good tv or radio.. or anything really.

Yea it's so bad that he has prime real estate on the SEC Network...Most people here are butt hurt because he rarely says anything about good about Tennessee. The same Tennessee that's 3-3, hasn't had a winning season in what seems like 20 years and hasn't been relevant in the SEC in almost 10 years. Other than Butch is turning it around and these young kids are playing hard, what good do you want him to say?? He's not the most exciting man in the world but the crazy Bama, Georgia and Auburn callers make their fan base look like the Beverly Hillbillys

The show that disappoints me is Film Room. So much potential, only to find out that it's a glorified weekly coach's show.

It would be more interesting if the show was a small panel of former players and coaches reviewing/dissecting game footage from around the country with an emphasis on SEC games. Basically, turn ESPN's experiment during the BCSNCG into a regular program. It would be a pretty "technical" show, but I think football junkies and people that want to learn more about the technical side of the game would devour the show.

Welcome to 24/7 TV coverage. There isn't enough to talk about during the week to support a 24/7 concept so they fill the time in with crap like Finnbaum just to keep the ads moving ($$$).

What did you think the SEC network would provide? A great channel for SEC fans? Hah! It's all about how many ads you can televise in one hour and pay the SEC to run them. Then repeat that 24 times over the course of the day.

The funny thing is that Clay Travis is trying to be Finebaum. He does his best to get fan bases all worked up and draw hits and calls just like Finebaum.
