This could be a decent gauge of Arkansas in year 2 of Bielema (though I'm not sure Texas Tech is much better either).



21 all with 5 min left in the 2nd quarter.

Arky's running it pretty well. About 140 rushing yards in the first half.


They also either are running so well they don't have to pass the ball or just can't. (at the time of this post, it's 4 min till half and they have 33 total yards passing)

Both of their backs are running it well, not just Collins. Just goes to show what a solid o-line can do with talent in the backfield, and how much better our o-line needs to be.

Arkansas is mediocre in the pass game behind center but can produce a healthy balance off play action pass. Our starting QB is much more of a game manager type than a real pocket passer.

It is extremely refreshing to see a big Oline bullying up front and a deep backfield once again. We have been lacking in that area since Darren McFadden was on campus.

Much of the credit for this win goes to Tx Tech's atrocious run defense. A win feels good but I'll be much happier when we are forced to throw a little more and are still getting it done.

Looking forward to A&M coming to town.
