Safety Tray Matthews, a sophomore from Newnan, is facing at least three misdemeanor counts.

Also charged are defensive linemen Jonathan Taylor and James DeLoach, who are facing two misdemeanor charges.

Wide receiver Uriah LeMay (Christian LeMay's brother) is facing four misdemeanor charges.

Agree. It is rather sad that it seems to happen about this time every year. Thought this comment from the AJC posting of the article was interesting...
Matthews, Taylor and DeLoach starting at Auburn in a couple of years. Don't know about preachers's boy LeMay.

Well I guess their secondary may blow again this yr. Matthews just asking to be dismissed and JHC is already gone.

Clemson has 4 suspended for the first game. Richt and his team believes in equality! This was all planned!

It's amazing, uga always has some players get suspended for this or that during the offseason. But, coincidentally, when it's a really great linebacker or running back or receiver, their suspensions always seem to run out right before the Tennessee game.

Ainge is on now talking about this. They were double cashing checks from the university. Sounds like they were taking a pic of the check and depositing it that way as well as taking the paper checks to the bank. Doesn't look good for them if all of that is true.

Matthews, Taylor and DeLoach are alleged to have electronically deposited the checks through a mobile app into three different Wells Fargo accounts and then "presented to be cashed" the same check at an unknown location with an account at SunTrust bank, the report said.

LeMay 's roommate, also a UGA athlete, initially cashed four checks issued electronically and then discarded them. LeMay is alleged to have then presented for cash or deposit through a Wells Fargo account.
