Lendale white looked dynamic against PAC-10 defense.

Personally I think he should have kept the damn thing, their is nothing amateur about college football other than the pay to players.

I'll have to hand it to Bush, I figured he would fade away as a Dolphin and we wouldn't hardly hear of him again but he has really stepped up his game.

No you are right. But SC has to pay for Bush cheating. That's the way it is. I am sure Carroll had no clue...

I don't ever recall the NCAA producing evidence that Carroll knew

If C Patterson decides to spend a weekend in Kansas and gets comped for a steak dinner, Dooley could get slapped by the 'AA for that

I don't know why everybody expected CPC to keep up with the living situations of every parent of every player on the team across the country, that's the only way he would have known.

The sooner college athletics are treated as the glorified minor leagues that they are, the better.

This. It's refreshing to know not everyone still believes this was a "pay-for-play" situation. We had a failure in our responsibility to conduct compliance, per the NCAA. Very different from paying him to sign--not sure why we would since he had been on the team (2) years before the infractions began...

Not saying it wasn't an infraction because it was, I'm saying the rule is stupid

I found my propery records on the internet, its free public information. I got a free credit report on the internet as well. Background checks are $39.95.

Literally one of the dumbest comments I've ever read in my entire life. You must have a pretty low football iq if you really believe this.

The house was a rental, and most likely wasn't reported.

Even if it wasn't, I don't see why it should be expected of the compliance department at every university to personally investigate the living situation of every relative of every varsity athlete.
