I don't think Dooley said anything incorrect and you still bash him.

Steve Spurrier Field in Johnson City has nothing to do with Spurrier making a lots of money...

Damn DD that was uh... well not one of your best moments on the record.
Really?????

The coach when he was a senior was Jim McDonald, who was only here a year and used special "Halloween jerseys". He also ran the single wing offense, which cost us a high profile QB (Steve Spurrier), sound familiar?

Lane Kiffin was here a year, used a "Halloween jersey", ran a pro-style offense, which cost us a high-profile QB (Tajh Boyd)

A year later, Jim McDonald was replaced by Doug Dickey who scrapped the single-wing in favor of the "T formation" offense. Had he come in one year earlier or Spurrier been held back/failed a year, he probably would've come to UT.

Had Fulmer or Dooley been here in 2009, Boyd would be here now...so to recap...one year coaches basically SUCK!!! But they do use pretty cool jerseys...

Without turning this into another long debate, but if Taj is here, we don't get Tyler. Also, if Fulmer is here in 2009 and fired in 2010, Coach Dooley never gets a sniff at the opportunity to coach at the University of Tennessee. This is how I see it anyways.

The real question is...would Tajh do better with beer bottles and jet skis?

In all seriousness though, you're right Tyler probably wouldn't be here without LK, but I always like to think what if he hadn't run Boyd off and had brought him in, then gotten Tyler...we'd have been running a 2 QB system that was BadA!!! The 2-B offense would've been huge and "we'll win cause we are 2-B and they're not 2-B, THAT is the answer".

Hey, a fan can dream, can't he?

If you enjoy ripping your hair out, then yeah the two QB system would be awesome.
