Recruiting services

I know know there has been discussion about schools paying players and games such as NCAA football and basketball using player's face, but I do not recall anyone bringing up the recruiting services paying players for interviews. I just was curious what your opinion was about this. MODS: I put in NCAA forum sinces it covers NCAA rules and multiple sports.

If recruiting services pay players for interviews then wouldn't players demand the media to pay them for interviews? Doesn't make sense.

Would that cost them their amateur status, at least under the current rules.

That is what I am asking, if you think these recruits should be allowed to be paid ( small amount) for interviews by recruiting services. I am not saying this is the best option, just throwing it out there to see other opinions.

Too many of them already play up the recruiting process already. I can just see some auctioning off themselves to the highest interview bidder, and in reverse the other services that lost out dropping their stars etc. The recruiting services are corrupt enough, it wouldn't work.
