Ftr, TX is doing a fine job of capturing my thoughts on this. | You raise a good point. This really isn't a football matter as much as a school matter. The people that really need to be stepping in aren't the NCAA it's the Pennsylvania state government. |

I say yes, they need to do that but it cannot be self instituted and self run, it needs to be paid to the people who already are trying to do so.
Can the NCAA do anything? I don't know. Should the NCAA do anything? If they absolve themselves completely, it destroys what little external credibility they have now. |

If Sandusky would have been a janitor, would they have protected him then?

| Let the record show however that I am more of an advocate if rising from the ashes to better a society than I am wallering in a lingering state of desolation all the while counting down the seconds until things can finally start to attempt to get back to normal.
Act now. Their first step towards their future after all this, will determine the legacy of that University. |

| What does it do for the victims and families if you take the football program down?
