I've been to St. Louis a couple of times. Easy 5 hr drive from Nashvegas. I'd rather drive there instead of to Atlanta. Some don't like it because it's flat and boring, but very little traffic and a peaceful drive. Driving to Columbia wouldn't be that bad.
