Even the most casual observer can see how corrupt AAU hoops are.

A flat "NCAA bans" comes across just a bit different from "NCAA bans from July events"...sounds like they kicked the schools out from sports (under the organization)

It's about time some of these AAU programs get smacked around. They are so corrupt that it's not funny. I'll set back and enjoy the show

The players' eligibility isn't in question. This has everything to do with the organization, not the individuals.

Not sure about that. If they dig deep enough and find that any of the players on the teams had contact with agents, it could. I doubt it goes that far.

I did not follow the link golfballs provided, but the news release I saw is stated below:

According to a release, the New England Playaz, Florida Rams, Worldwide Renegades and SEBL Elite All-stars have a relationship with ASM Sports, a professional sports agency. By NCAA rule, non-scholastic basketball teams that are associated with agents are prohibited from competing in NCAA certified summer basketball events.

The eligibility of the prospects is not in question though, and they can still participate in certified events on different teams.

Not if they traveled on Andy Miller's dime. They would have to pay back that money.

I don't think it will be any insurmountable obstacle, but these players will definitely have to jump through some hoops to be eligible. That's how the NCAA works

Yes, the players can play on any AAU team they want as long as they aren't affiliated with Andy Miller or their previous coaches.

As far as being eligible in college, see my post above.
