I think they said it was easier for the QB to get snaps from a RH center instead of a LH. Not sure why that would be, doesn't seem like it would make that much difference.

Which I don't get tbh. Either should be the same speed...unless the QB just can't used to it being delivered by a southpaw, or the center delivers the laces to the QB awkwardly. I will say this....in the SEC, you better snap the ball damn fast.

Thats why I'm going with our previous ol coach outsmarted himself. Interested to see his work at Notre Dame this year.

The only difference is the spin of the ball is reversed on shotgun snaps. Under center the delivery is the same. Hope that helps

That's what I remember being the reason as well.

I'm with you tho, not sure how there could that much of a difference.

It seems like whenever we have 1 of the key ingredients for the running game something else falls apart. Last year our o-line was supposed to be strong but wasn't. Our running game was the only thing we survived on in some games. This year we should have great backs but i'm sure our o-line will fall apart.
