Vandy still ended up around 30, which for them is a tremendous improvement. I don't think they ever made the top 50 before.

And that is the difference in a nutshell. If a Vandy coach has the 30th ranked class he is praised as a savior and competition. IF a UT coach only pulled in the # 30 class, his ass is on the hot seat.

James Franklin is a POS, and his "up and coming" team plays dirty as all get out.

I'm not concerned at this point that Vandy has more 3 star recruits than we do, because once they rattle off a typical Vandy season (yes I do believe last year as an exception) a good number of these kids will realize that his sales pitch is just as big a flop as Vandy football.

i hate the guy, but thus far he has proven he is at the minimum a good recruiter and a decent coach. Proof will be in the pudding this season for him.
