Just because you have an basketball arena that is 10 years newer doesn't mean your facilities are better - TBA was built in the 80s yet Tennessee's basketball facilities are slightly better than Arkansas's and better than Missouri's. | What do you know about our facilities? And please tell me what markets Arkansas controls to make in-state not matter.
Mizzou is between two top 30 Metro Areas, with twice the state population. Arkansas has neither to stand on. If you think that equals a recruiting advantage then you are entitled to your own wrong opinion. Arkansas has one more NC than us from over 20 years ago. But I will take the better stadium, larger pool and larger potential pool of fan base, and more recent/relevant success to today. |

As for the bolded - all I can do is laugh - because I never said in state didn't matter.. I said it was retarded to limit it to in state because of Arkansas's location they have easy ties into really close surrounding states/hotspots.
And potential pool of fan base - that's hilarious. Too bad Arkansas still has a bigger and better fan base so that kind of makes that stat irrelevant. |

And Arkansas has access to surrounding hotspots more so than a school within 90 minutes of two Top 30 cities? Again I dont know what these "hotspots" that Arkansas is dominating or even has a presence in, but if thats what you want to go with then fine. And better fan base? Get serious. Is this the same fan base that chased Nolan out of town? |

Sorry but their fan base is leagues better than yours - and it isn't an opinion it's a fact. You have a puny fan base when youre located in such densely populated areas yet they still dwarf yours - whats up with that? Arkansas fans are nuts and are some of the best in the SEC - only fan bases I could honestly put ahead of theirs is UK, Bama, and UT (overall not solely basketball).. Being right ahead of teams like UF, LSU, UGA, Auburn and USCjr.
As for the arenas go to BWA and TBA and the practice facilities then come back or at least do the bare minimum and research the two other than the construction date.

We have better facilities. You are the only one that argues this. We have a much better recruiting pool, you are the only one that argues this. But until you give more than just your own personal opinion of Mizzou Arena (which I am now sure you have never been to) and BWA or these mystical large markets that Arkansas controls, I am done with this conversation. |

Your the only one that thinks Arkansas is better. LOL I think I will be able to live with that. |
