Probably because none have seen it. What about that poor leprechaun, I mean little person at Norte Dame?

I suggest you do the same. This "erector set" has an outstanding sky box section.

Bama's are better. But, Bama had the advantage of building the boxes while building the upper decks. Tennessee only had space they could renovate, not build on from scratch. All of that said, UT's aren't bad by any stretch. They simply remove you from the game a bit more than Bama's.

With football season just around the corner I wanted to go ahead and get a prediction thread here on the NCAA forum that I will be able to bump after we beat y'all. And please don't get mad and upset when I bump it. I'm not going to rub it in or flame, I'm simply just going to type "bump."

prediction:
Mississippi State - 31
Tennessee - 10

lolwut?

UT-42
MSU-10

We will need to make sure we block well and not let Denico Autry destroy Tyler.

But overall Miss St's O doesn't really scare me and I think we will be able to move the ball on them.

Glad we have an open date before this game, because if we went @UGA, @MISS ST, Bama without the bye this would have trap written all over it.

As it is, I do see us not playing our best game here, but pulling out a win.

Vols - 27
State - 17

Good analysis... If we score 17, no doubt we lose this game. I expect our scoring d to be SLIGHTLY improved over last year(was 16th) but our total d to improve drastically(was like 70th). Last year we had to play a ton of soft zone coverage to compensate for the fact that we could get NO outside pressure on qb's. Basically, we were a much better overall D than the total d number would imply due to a single GLARING weakness. With this year's DL(Autry and Eulls outside), I fully expect that we'll be able to turn Banks and Slay loose to play quite a bit of man coverage. Still doesn't help us compensate for a 6'3 1st rd receiver and 6'4 1st rd receiver, much less another 6'4 guy with the upside of Patterson. Now that I think about it, a soft zone might be our best option against you guys...

We've got pretty high hopes for Tyler Russell(provided he doesn't get broken in half behind a lack of SEC experience at both tackle positions). Chris Relf was NEVER an SEC qb, IMO. Our scoring offense in '11(running the spread option) was almost equal to our '09 output with 5'8" Tyson Lee throwing up ints(in the pass-first spread). Tyler Russell in the pass-first spread has a MUCH higher ceiling than we've seen from our qb's before under Mullen. How high? Who knows... It's going to depend on the OL giving him time. That's the wildcard for our whole season...

People don't realize that we actually have a deep, experienced, and fairly talented receiving corps. They're just flying WAY under the radar right now because we haven't yet had a qb that could effectively get them the ball in their entire careers!

I love Neyland, but I have to admit, I went to Tuscaloosa last year for the first time and was blown away. Y'all have a great stadium.

Please don't compliment him too much, lol.
He referred to Neyland as "a bit of a dump."

Ive been to a Bammer/the barn game at BDS and it may have a better atmosphere than Neyland when UT is playing UAB or Buffalo. But an SEC game at Neyland blows BDS away.
