Interesting article on draft/star status

As it pertains to the acc. Oddly, of the 31 players drafted, only one was a 5 star. I'd love to see this breakdown for the sec, which would include higher ranked players of course because our conference lands more. I thought it interesting that a majority of the top five picks were either a 3 or a 2 star.

Part of that is because of how small the number of 5-star players is. In 2012, Rivals gave 5 stars to 32 players. That number probably differs from year to year, but in a given Draft, there's probably somewhere between 32 and 64 5-star players who are eligible. So, even if every 5-star plans out, they'll still only occupy a small percentage of the Draft.

I believe that as well, it's just you'd think the acc would have 3 or 4 five star players drafted in most years. This year could be an anomaly but I'd have to see the numbers from prior years. I'd really like to see the sec vs say the big ten
