| Well atleast we know this isn't going on at UT. Well, unless they can't even pass a class that's not really even a class that is. |

| Hey, look all you Kentucky fans on this Tennessee board. Just look at it this way: you all feel like you are the exemplar of college basketball excellence (playing SEC basketball all these years with basically no competition and getting all those tournament invites before the late 70s/early 80s when you had to win your conference.) Feel honored once again...maybe UNC is trying to imitate you! Academic fraud...another great step along UNC's way to just feigning to be half as good a program historically as Kentucky! Oh, and by the way, look up who owns the all-time series between the two schools.

We also had professors that we called Suitcase Simpson. Some things never change. |

Congrats on the three wins before 1933, though.
Both programs have a rich, blue-blooded tradition and depending on the era, one has held dominance over the other. Quoting all time record really isn't something to crow about. But I definitely respect their tradition. |

I just checked US News, and they have UNC as the #29 undergraduate university. They are much higher for MBAs, but you have to figure that not every Top 30 university has a graduate school.
My general impression, as I toured MBA programs, was that it's actually typically easier, per capita, to get into an MBA program than it is to get in as an undergraduate at the same universities.
I won't keep defending UNC. I just don't want to read everybody crap on the academics of a school that crapped on me, lol. |

| Also keep in mind that the admissions standards for out-of-state students might be far, far higher than those for in-state.
(too lazy to look this up ) |

In all honesty, I have great respect for UNC Bball and the rivalry that Duke shares w/ Carolina. I've never been a part of anything like it. For those who disagree, imagine UT vs. Bama or Fla 8 miles apart. I just think that UNC Football is a joke, it always has been convenient for the fans and not something they really take seriously. |

You need to pull at least a 750 SAT or 16 on the ACT to get in this fall at UNC. Not exactly elite requirements. Course & Admission Requirements | Look I'm all for the UNC bashing, but I have to admit it's hard to knock on there academic admissions. I realize what's going on w/ this scandal, but UNC is probably a top 5-10 public university from an admissions standpoint. I just threw up a little bit.
Actually, one of my best friends got wait listed at Carolina and got into Vandy first try. |
