| Sammy Watkins arrested Seems he & another Clemson athlete (soccer player) were pulled over & both were arrested for simple possession of marijuana. Watkins was also charged with possessing a controlled substance without a prescription (2 pills). |

I am not saying they should kick him off, but something should be done to show him and the rest of the team that they don't need to be out getting caught doing stuff like this. |

A first positive drug test doesn't include that so why should this? Posted via VolNation Mobile |

| Depending on which pills he had ( what schedule) it could be much worse than having some pot.

I see no difference unless he was selling these drugs which I haven't seen that mentioned. Posted via VolNation Mobile |

| Possession of certain types of pills can get you some time, believe me, I was a deputy for three years.. It's much more serious than pot, again depending on the substance. But without any priors and only having two it will be considered just possession without intent to resell most likely. If they were oxy's or such like it could be serious for him. I'm not familiar with sc law but tn has some stiff penalties the higher up the pill chain you go. Serious meaning if he does not cooperate ( snitch) then he could get a little more than probation. Like a nice fine, 30 days, and 3 years probation... Likely outcome is charges dropped with 1 year probation on good behavior, or dropped altogether depending on the legality of the stop

To add to the above it's my understanding the drugs were Adderall and Vyvanase (lisdexanfetamine). Both are Sch II.
