| This ties into the Coach Cal wanting to drop one of their OOC yearly rivals also, doesn't it? |

| | Senior Member | That's two straight stops that Calipari has preferred to end a traditional rivalry if the game couldn't be moved away from campus. It's just that UM didn't finally drop the UT series until after he left. Next year's game would have been at Rupp, and presumably, UK will be better in 2014 than in 2013. Seems like a useless time to drop it. |

Dumb.

| | Stooooooooops! | 2 good reasons: Money and Recruiting. Cal getting a "home" game at Lucas Oil is great for recruiting. UK has secured Lucas Oil for a December game. If Indiana won't come, maybe they'll land a different fish. We'll see. |

The only thing this hurts are the fans. |

All of a sudden indiana is back, #1 team pre season next year, and cal puts an end to the series.
What's wrong with the home/home? Not like Lexington puts out major recruits, so IU coming in doesn't do much. Actually UK would have more to gain recruiting wise it would seem by playing at Indiana.
Is cal atleast keeping UNC, and UL series or are those next? |

| | Stooooooooops! | Cal didn't end anything. IU was just as stubborn. There WAS a verbal agreement reached about a month ago for a neutral court series, but IU reneged.
BTW UK kicked IU's ass in the Sweet 16 this year.
The game would have been at Rupp. Some might say that Crean wanted out. |

| Indiana was just as stubborn from what I've heard. The game would have been at Rupp this year, probably affected the situation imo. |

| It has been a home and home, Cal wanted to make it neutral and Indiana wanted to keep it as is.
Seems to me calipari was trying to get out of it, why change the site all of a sudden? |

Seems to me calipari was trying to get out of it, but I dont expect UK fans to admit that. | I don't think Cal was trying to get out of it. He's a stubborn guy and if he doesn't get his way he'll just drop it. I don't understand why it was a problem about the location for either teams, stupid to me. |
