Ok, so now I just want to know why that's weak, especially when it was one of the harsher penalties they had doled out to a major program since around the SMU case or so

Or are you just one of those pro-death penalty guys in this case?

The death penalty would be too harsh.

The 'sanctions' did nothing to hurt USC. They still piled up recruits because of back counting, and now they are poised to make a run for a national title fresh off of a two-year bowl ban.

Football What Is the 3 year Probation?

University of South Carolina cited for failure to monitor - NCAA.org

So is the 3 year probation a postseason ban?
if y'all can clarify that, please do.

I don't care if you're USC or USCjr or USCe, or whatever you are, I don't like any of yuns! I don't care for Southern California in particular either.

They did prepare smartly by back counting heavily

It basically means that if they get caught for anything in the next three years, they will get smacked down hard by the ncaa.

THIS,they got off way too easy.. vacating wins? Who cares? They still played them. Everyone knows who won or lost... They shouldn't of been able to back count anything... Should of been no bowl games for 5 years and a 15 scholly a year recruiting class for 4 years. That would get the point across about cheating and illegal benefits.

CockyTalk is the same way. However, this isn't the first time vol_in_il has demonstrated problems with reading comprehension.
