So how does this Uconn ban work

With football, all the bowl games are controlled by the NCAA one way or another, so when USC was banned/Ohio st is banned, it makes sense.

However, with basketball, and there being more than one post season tournament, how does this work? is uconn banned from ALL post season tournaments, or just the ones sanctioned by the NCAA?

basically, should we pencil in Uconn as the #1 NIT seed?

The NCAA controls the NIT now but I believe it's an "all postseason" ban anyways

Even if the two "C" tournaments aren't controlled by the NCAA, it seems like the NCAA would still have to sanction them.
