Hate to burst your bubble, but the "award" is not part of the ESPN College Football Awards. It's a blog award. If it were anything more than a joke they would have re-named it the Meyer Cup or added Urbans name at least. But that's probably not something UF grads have any interest in doing, although he's not as popular as he used to be down there.
It was a joke, but everyone knew there was a kernal of truth to it, that's why it was funny. That year I think Fulmer had somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 players with off the field problems.
