| Looks like Kiffin is having the same luck recruiting at USC as he had here. |

| Arguably his three best players from that class are busts. Two (Ambles and Baxter) are off the team and Prater hasn't done anything. |

| Kiffin can't afford that either. With sanctions in place, missing on top recruits isn't an option. It's the same problem he had recruiting here. The 2009 class is in shambles, and a handful of guys that decommitted from 2010 have been subsequently kicked off the team they signed with. |

RT @GregBiggins: Don't be surprised if Dillon Baxter wind up at #SDSU if he doesn't work things out at #USC. He came close to signing there

"The decision has been made for Dillon Baxter to focus on his academics," Kiffin said in a statement Tuesday. "As he does so, he will not be part of our football program.
| So he failed his classes? Brilliant.
Kiffin's hit rate on his classes hasn't been the greatest so far. |

| Kiffy set's higher standards for his players than most coaches. Just because he actually kicks players off his teams doesn't mean his teams behave that much more badly. |

Picking up thugs may get you that star power, but if nobody's left from your classes it doesn't help at all.
