Both teams should be pretty solid next year. Michigan looks like they're headed for a solid (if unspectacular) first season under Hoke (looking over the rest of the schedule, 8-4 should be about right) and returns a pretty solid team (13 returning starters plus the new offense + defense fully implanted plus Denard's senior year).

The scariest thing about Alabama in 2012 is that this year's team isn't even that experienced. They'll be returning sixteen starters next year. And you thought they were good this season.

Sixteen? Does that factor in juniors that will go pro?

Even if they do, they've got outstanding backups. Richardson is probably a lock to leave for the NFL after this year, but Lacy's shown he's got great moves and he's pretty much another Bama bulldozer. Dont'a Hightower definitely could leave, but he's probably a late first-rounder. Dre Kirkpatrick may leave. Of course, no one knows just yet. The only lock to leave as far as I can see (family situation, potential NCAA stuff, etc.) is Richardson.

Sure, Richardson would leave because of his "family situation" or "potential NCAA stuff" and not because he's a guaranteed first rounder who can do little else to increase his draft stock.

Well, this too. Projected as a Top 10 pick right now.

I don't remember all that well, but wasn't Ingram projected around the same area before he came back last year? It would definitely serve Richardson well to head out early.

this game has been on the schedule for a while. I refuse to google them, but if you try you can find it.

Im sure there is a little money involved or michigan would not do it. David Brandon (um AD) is already on record as saying he will no longer play outside of michigan stadium for non-conf season. (aside from ND every other year)

The dude is in-freaking-credible. I think he could line up and play linebacker if he wanted. I havent seen many running back with his speed and agility that can hit so freaking hard. Awesome football player.

He would make a great addition to my Detroit Lions. . . but for once they do not suck and wont have a chance at him!! (they screwed up next years draft by being too good this year!!! )

The egos at michigan are impenetrable. They will be ok. Well, not ok, but they will make up an excuse.
