Bryce Brown listed as third RB on initial K-State depth chart

MANHATTAN — Former Wichita East running back Bryce Brown is listed on Kansas State's initial depth chart behind John Hubert and Angelo Pease for Saturday's opener against Eastern Kentucky.
Brown, who sat out last season as a Tennessee transfer, is a preseason All-Big 12 selection. Coach Bill Snyder has been critical of Brown's off-season workout participation.
Collin Klein was officially named the starting quarterback with senior Sammuel Lamur backing him up.
On the offensive line, B.J. Finney surprisingly moved to the starter at right guard with Shaun Simon starting at center. Keenan Taylor, Clyde Aufner and Manase Foketi round out the unit as starters.
On the defensive line, Adam Davis and Jordan Voelker will start at the end positions with Ray Kibble and Vai Lutui or Javonta Boyd getting the nod at defensive tackle.

| Before everyone wets themselves, it is quite common for a coach to bench a guy he thinks is half-assing it, especially in a cupcake opener. Or maybe he's just not getting it done... but you can't read too much into this | |

I think the depth chart could be legit however it may also be a 3 way tie for first. | |
