| | Senior Member | Paul Hewitt Is Simply Awesome. Georgia Tech loses to Siena. His continued employment is one of the great testaments to the power of a well negotiated contract. |

| There's not really much else to be said about Hewitt. He's just awful and everyone knows it. |

| | Senior Member | Between Lowe and Hewitt the ACC has 2 of the wqorst coaches in the land. Too bad their buddy Gaudio is no longer at Wake. That was a trio of awfulness.
Wake, GT, NCSt are lol bad. |

Hewitt has an automatic rollover that ensures that he's always working with a 6 year contract. On top of that, he has a buyout clause that states that if he is terminated he is due a little over $1 million for every year left on his contact. So basically no matter when GT fires him, it will cost them $6.5 million+.
Ga Tech is in the same position that we were in with Fulmer . . . except they aren't blessed with fanatical boosters that are willing to pony up for the buyout. |

| Siena is arguably better than Oakland or Charlotte.

| Siena is a decent team....made the Tourney the last few years(08, 09, and 10), including 2 first round wins (Vandy in 08, Ohio St. in 09)
on a side note, I was accepted to go to Siena but ended up joining the Army

| Pops is a GT alum and I grew up a fan...the past six years have been a slow developing train wreck. Now it's just hilarious. |
