Seriously this is where those magical seasons happen at certain programs. Now all the sudden the Cocks look like a lock for the SEC east.

Props to SC. They deserved it. Ray Tanner is a fantastic coach.

With Coastal Carolina, Clampson and SC, the state has no shortage of great college baseball. Now if we could just get a pro team in here...

how, why, and aren't you all already in the markets of several professional teams in each sport?

No baseball team in the Carolinas would survive or be competitive because of the heavy regional influence of the Braves....

P.S. 500th post

Yeah, I sorta said that tongue-in-cheek.

The Braves are definitely THE baseball team around here. Football is somewhat split between the Panthers (summer camp is in Spartanburg) and Falcons (old school).

I don't know too many who follow "local" pro basketball, but there are plenty of UNC/Duke basketball fans (that are also Clemson football fans) around here.

neither could anyone else

it will be down for a week when South Carolina wins an SEC championship in football. Lets just hope the board is still around whenever that may happen (and I'd like to be around too)
