This could be good or bad. I remember playing Bungie games back in the day that were pre-Microsoft. Myth comes to mind.

It will be interesting to see how this pans out and what changes are made in Bungie's ranks.

To me it means Microsoft won't be rushing the game out the door as fast as they can. I believe that's why Halo 2 sucked donkey balls. Halo 3 was rushed too but turned out better. I'm in favor of the split.

The only thing in my mind that could have been done better concerning Halo 3 is better maps.

Not a huge deal, but with more time they could have probably gotten it to render the game at 720p with a stable framerate.
