| celebrities have to appeal to their fanbase and be all things to all people; if you're doing a concert at UTK, you're gonna scream "Go Vols!"...if you're near Gainesville, you're gonna do the Gator chomp...on the surface, it looks like betrayal when really, it's just pleasing your fans, ALL of them. I guess you'd call it taking care of business. It might not be cool, but it's not surprising either.
Just the same, I personally have no use for Chesney's music or image, and whether he is associated with our fanbase or not is of positively no interest to me one way or the other.
