barnes was not the best qb in the pac-10 that year. he was drafted in like the 3rd round. and he was a complete flake. I worked in a hardware store when i was at cal and barnes walked in once. had a bunch of tubing and goes to me "dude do you think i can make a bong out of this?" True story.
