Football teams run in cycles. The teams that are on top now, won't be on top forever. What we need to do is climb up to the 3rd of 4th best in the S.E.C. Then we the top two teams falter some, we will be in striking position.
Remember when we were tops in the S.E.C.? Alabama was on probation. Auburn had just fired Bowden and had issues. UGA had two different poor coaching hires. LSU had DiNardo. Florida was just hitting their stride.
Now, Alabama has recovered. LSU has hired a better coach. etc. etc.
We just need to get in striking distance and wait for the top teams to falter.
