A) They were ranked #95, not #89. B) Dayne Crist is immediately eligible and has already won the starting job. C) Charlie Weis was getting the most out of Brantley last season before he went down and the offense was playing solid. He'll get Kansas's offense going. Although I don't love the Kansas defense, there is certainly the potential in the Big 12 for a Kansas to get bowl eligible with a strong offensive effort. I think they are better than Baylor this year. I also think they are better than Iowa State. They have a cupcake non-conference schedule. If they can find a sixth win, which isn't impossible, they are bowl eligible. Their offense could be very good, with a balanced rushing attack and a strong passing game.
