Two things that hurt the strip:
It looks like arse from the outside. A weedeater would do wonders.
Second thing, Downtown/Market Square are so much better now. Downtown Knoxville is exponentially better than it was 5 or 10 years ago. Throw in the Old City and people have more options than they used to. |
Other than Cool Beans I didn't recognize any of the first ones you listed. honestly though I'm surprised Hanna's and Sunspot are still around. They keep to there same type of crowd, and they don't shut down like the other places have.
It would take more of a weed-eater to clean up the issues with the strip. Im sure the booty dropping DJ places don't help keep it clean. At least that what was bringing it down back when I was there.
