I've been kicking around the idea of going to Vegas in March with the wife instead of the traditional beach vacation this year. I found some fairly good deals (at least it appears) on Orbitz combo packages of flight/hotel combos. Depending on the hotel we could go anywhere from $600-$1,000 TOTAL.

Anyone have any advice or other websites they use to book vacations in Vegas? I have always used VRBO to book beach trips and love the website. I wouldn't be against using VRBO to book a hotel room if I could possibly get it cheaper but I can't find good deals on roundtrip plane tickets when doing it separately.

If we do decide to go what is a must do in Vegas? I'll say now we aren't the big party types........not prudes but we've had our party days in our teens and early 20s and now we just want to go and have a good time. Maybe gamble a little bit but just take it all in, see the fountain show at the Bellagio, swim in a nice pool, eat good food, maybe see a cool Vegas show like one of the Cirque Solei's or Penn and Teller if they are in town. We'd likely be flying most of the day on Tuesday and get there late Tuesday night and then have Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for entertainment then hop a plane back to East Tennessee on Saturday.

I know it's not a long trip and I plan on going someday when I could stay longer but I'd still like to see Vegas now in case something unforeseen happens in the future preventing me from going.

Any advice appreciated!
