Rangers are somewhat similar...but Tortarella's system isn't beneficial to skilled open ice players like Gaborik, who is a top 5 scorer when left to his own devices.
I'm excited about a top line of Gabby/Richards/ Fill In Blank Here, but in 2014 I'll know that signing Richards wasn't the right move.
I'd take our back 6 & Hank over any back end in the league over the course of a season, including your back 6 with Pekka.
