Rodney King, the man whose brutal beating by the LAPD following a traffic stop was captured on videotape in 1991, was cited two days ago for driving without a license after being pulled over by police for what they described as an unsafe lane change.
The citation was issued on March 2, one day before the twentieth anniversary of the beating, which led to the trial of the four white LAPD officers and the subsequent acquittal of three of them.
