Allen names LSU as the team to beat for him at the moment, but it seems like the Tigers are mostly the leaders by default at the moment.

Tennessee is one of those schools hoping to get itself in the mix. Assistant coach Frank Wilson, who recruits portions of Louisiana, is schedule to be by practice this week to watch Allen in action.

As for Tennessee, Allen indicated that if the Vols showed they were serious about him, he'd be interested in giving them a look.

"From what I know about Tennessee and their tradition, I like them," Allen observed. "I know they have a new staff up there now and I don't know much about them, but I'd be interested in looking at them and learning more."
