| For your buddies case, I would just say he resigned. That is what he did. If a future employer calls this employer, there is only certain information/questions they can ask. They can tell them if he is rehireable or not, but not the reason why he quit/fired. If they do that, technically that is illegal. Pretty much all they are allowed to give is dates of employment, would they rehire this employee, and a couple other things. |
