| It's weird Monterey...but I can kind of see it in some aspects. She may have not thought he was the best guy for the job, but that had nothing to do with his color. However, the fact that someone of his (and her) color finally made it to the highest office in our country is likely very meaningful and significant to her. I guess what I am saying is ... not so much that Obama is now president-elect.... but more that "it can actually happen." I can see a dualism to it....does that make any sense? I'm not necessarily sure the pride has to be hypocritical, unless she is gushing that he will be the best president ever or something. |
