FYI for all the McCarthy fans...I always tout Suttree. It is easily my favorite novel the McCarthy has done. Ebert gives it a shout out on his website and tells how Cormac's writing got him through the days while dealing with his new disability.
If you haven't read Suttree, it is set in the City of Knoxville and it is widely believed to be somewhat autobiographical.

I just finisihed the Border Trilogy and I loved it...
I have to say All the Pretty Horses was my favorite of the three...I will also say that I had a bit of a hard time with The Crossing....but from what I've read about the book that's not unusual...alot of critics say it's McCarthy's deepest, most philosophical and all-around best book
