Willingham is the most overrated coach ever.
He has coached 14 seasons (this is his 14th).
He has a below .500 record.
Something like 73-77.
He is 1-5 in Bowl Games.
He has a horrible record against teams that finish above .500.
He has only won one Pac-10 Championship. That came in 1999 when he finished 8-4 in a horrible Pac-10. He went 1-3 in the OOC schedule and lost 69-17 to Texas.
He is a lazy recruiter as well.
I'll never get why so many are on Willingham's bandwagon. The man has completely alienated the Washington fanbase by not showing up at functions and giving guys like Steve Emtman (best player ever at Washington and a part of their 1991 National Championship team/finished 4th in Heisman) ONE sideline pass for the whole season. That is a joke. He also won't allow guys like Reggie Williams to use the facilities to workout.
Willingham is a horrible coach and a guy that absolutely sends football programs down the toilet.
