I can't read this post b/c I'm blind, of course, but a friend is typing this as I dictate:
The media is about ratings. Obama's trip obviously will draw huge ratings, therefore they're making a big deal of it. He's a rock star. McCain isn't. And rock stars get the coverage.
I don't approve of this form of journalism, but the bottom line here is their bottom line.
