The Tennessee Lettermen Chase for the Championship Contest

The Tennessee Lettermen Chase for the Championship Pick ‘Em contest, Phase One.
Pick the 12 drivers you think will make the cut and compete for the Sprint Cup Championship.
It is important you place them in order of how you think they will finish the regular season and thus start the Chase for the Championship. The deadline to place your picks is May 6th by 6:00 pm. The current Sprint Cup point standings are available by visiting NASCAR.COM. All disputes will be settled by rbroyles, and all decisions are final. The person garnering the most points wins a $100.00 gift certificate from The Tennessee Lettermen of Bristol and Johnson City, TN. Please patronize them and tell them you saw the contest on Vol Nation. The Bristol Store is at the FoodCity Center on Volunteer Pkwy. and the Johnson City store is the former Hound Dogs at the Peerless Center on N. Roan St. Phone numbers are 423 652-0713 & 423 283-7764. We wish to thank Jack Sitgreaves, owner of The Tennessee Lettermen for his sponsership.

For each driver who you picked who makes the Chase there are 25 points.
For correctly picking at least six drivers you get a bonus of 25 points.
For picking all 12 drivers you get a bonus of 50 points.
For getting the point leader correct, you get a bonus of 25 points.
For picking the first six in correct order you get a bonus of 50 points.
For picking all 12 in correct order you get 100 bonus points.

Phase Two: When the 12 drivers are established, by Sept. 14 you must pick the finishing order of the 12 drivers.
The points will be awarded as they were for Phase One.

Phase Three will be announced before the Chase begins.

When listing your picks, it is imperative you use the full name and/or car number.
Example: 1. Kyle Busch #18
2. Kurt Busch #2
If the driver’s identity cannot be easily determined, you will be given the results of the lower finishing driver.
