ForumsJarvis Giles Commitment.
Jarvis Giles, 4-star all purpose back from Gaither, Florida, announced in a press conference earlier today that he plans to enroll at South Carolina in January.
Giles initially committed to Tennessee and was very close to Tennessee assistant Stan Drayton. It was believed by many that Giles would end up in Knoxville since new coach Lane Kiffin has retained Drayton on his staff to this point.
Adding David Reaves to the staff, (who was the lead recruiter for Giles at South Carolina) should have only solidified the Vols chances with Giles.
In the end it just wasn’t enough. After the coaching changes, Giles just didn’t feel Tennessee was the place for him.
