Demetrice Morley suspended for Saturday

Tennessee junior safety Demetrice Morley has been suspended for missing class and will not play in Saturday’s game against Wyoming .

Academic issues aren’t new to Morley. He sat out last season after being ruled academically ineligible and was forced to attend junior college. To his credit, Morley got his grades in order and was readmitted to Tennessee this season.

Coming out of high school in 2005, Morley was considered a five-star recruit and was rated the second best cornerback prospect in the nation.

On the season, Morley is credited with 40 tackles and 2 interceptions for 32 yards and a touchdown.
