Candace Parker and Lady Vols: Champions again!

The Lady Vols came out of the gate firing on Tuesday night. Shannon Bobbit hit a couple of early three pointers to put Tennessee up early and the outcome was never really in question. The final: Tennessee 64 Stanford 48.
Candace Parker finished her career at Tennessee with 17 points and 9 rebounds.

We are really proud of our Lady Vols - We live in Texas but grew up just south of Knoxville-[Sweetrwater]- - My wife and I watch every game we can - We log on to the Vol-Nation to get the highlights and comments - we are 70 yr old plus fans - We were really afraid of Stanford after what they did to U-Conn - But Coach Pat put the plan out and the girls worked the plan - It was great - Unfortunately we gradute our ladies and have to start all over - Hope Coach Pat has a great recruiting class coming in - We love or Lady Vols.

Thanks for your follow back - Speaking of our Lady Vols - How do we look for next year and how is the recruiting developing for the next 2-4 years - I am betting Coach Pat will still have us in at least the Sweet 16, who knows maybe the Elite 8 or Final 4 - There are some good teams out there to challenge us in 09 - Would be interested in how we look for the future -
Thanks again,

I know that we have a lot of talent coming in next year, the problem is that we will be inexperienced. As for 2-4 years down the road, I don’t know the answer to that but winning back to back championships can’t do anything but help recruiting.
You may want to check out our Lady Vols forum linked in the post above. There have been some similar posts about this topic and I believe someone listed the players we have coming in next season but I can’t seem to put my finger on it at the moment.
